Unavailable printer detected

Hi,
When I plug my printer in to USB, I get an “Unavailable printer detected” message, “A formlaps printer was detected but is currently in use by another instance of PreForm and cannot be connected to” etc.

But, I don’t have another instance of Preform running…

So, does anyone have ideas what is causing this problem?

If you’re uploading to the printer over wiif or ethernet, it’s possible that this is interfering with the ability to upload over USB. Try power cycling the printer and see if that corrects the issue. Otherwise, you should open a ticket with our support team so that we can help to troubleshoot.
