Hello,
I accidentally spilled some resin between the crack of the frame and the black table where the resin tank fits into. I’m not sure if there is a “gutter” for small spills on the side of the black table, but I’d like to make sure it isn’t a big problem. All I have to do is find a way to clean it.
Any help is welcome
Thanks
Alex
Wiping it up with a paper towel should be fine. Be careful not to get any resin on the ball spring plungers that hold the tank in place.
Is there a way to take the black table out so I can make sure that i’ve cleaned up everything? Right now I used the spatula, covered with some kitchenrroll, and went up and down to soak up most of the resin. However, there is a small part left which I cannot wipe up. Using a syringe with needle doesn’t work either. Without the needle it’s too wide to get to the spilled resin.
If I could take of that black moving table, it would be much easier. I just don’t know if thats a smart thing to do
I’ve made the same mistake recently. Would love to know if this is something I should be worried about.
Definitely do not remove the black table. Its position has been calibrated for you machine.
If it’s not much resin and doesn’t pose a risk of spilling any further, you needn’t worry about it. If that’s not the case, you can shine a UVA light onto the resin to cure it in place.
