I am currently using the formlab2 printer and have been having errors with the printed models. The models are printing much larger than the actual file. We know this because we tested it on another printer and the file was true to size. I am not sure how to fix the problem. I checked the scale its fine the axis is fine. Has anyone had any problems similar if so how did you correct the problem. Please let me know asap.
How much larger?
You mentioned scale, but just in case you haven’t already done so, check the model units (in Preform) are correct (mm vs inches).
Hello yes we have our preform at mm not inches. We were printing perfectly and then one day we got a phone call from our doctor that the model was much bigger than the real case. We sent the model out to be printed and we saw the difference.
Can you let us know what resin you are using?
When you say “much larger” how much larger do you mean?
Can you share the form file for us to test with?
Have you seen this dimensional error in all prints on this printer or only this specific model? It is possible that there is an issue with your tank or the optic path in your printer.
