Fuse 1+ 30W Clumping in Far Trough

I’ve been noticing increased powder spill into the near and far troughs recently printing PA12. Adjusting the dose offset to -5 has helped but I still see ugly globs of melted powder in the far trough while the near is almost empty after a full build chamber. Apparently Formlabs is aware of this and it’s caused by the 5.3 settings, but my question is why have the recommended fixes (-5 offset, reducing dosing in the settings, increasing post lase dwell time) not been rolled into an official release? customer_v2 . The FPS you can download from that page even marks the settings version as 5.3.1

Thank you for reaching out! Your question is a fair one. Currently, manual adjustments are the best path forward for the Fuse 1+ 30W, while our team is working on a permanent software solution that best supports all customers and printer models. In the meantime, I’ve shared your feedback with our engineers. Thanks for your patience!

I understand that each machine can be a bit different and I’d much rather be able to adjust the settings myself than not, but given the price of the ecosystem and cost of Formlabs powder (I think we pay ~$150/kg in Canada) it rubs me the wrong way that Formlabs doesn’t do more validation before releasing a new default print profile.
