Hi All, anyone else having problems with extreme powder build up in their Fuse1+ printers with the new ‘Speed Optimised’ printing profile? I’m getting print failures every 2 out of 7 prints due to jammed flippers and recoater rollers and the amount of debris stuck in the recoater gears at the back is not good either increasing changeover times.

Having similar issues. Currently reducing flipper dosage angle by 1deg to try and reduce this.

Also experiencing more severe dimpling on my parts.

We had this problem too. Although it never caused a single print failure for us. We had maybe a total of 10 parts that had print errors or artifacts due to suspected overdosing.

We then printed for a while using the adjusted 5.3.1 settings. These could be downloaded from the support forum. Unfortunately, I can’t find the post anymore. With these settings, the overdosing problem was largely resolved, but printing was slower.

Now we’re printing with the new 6.1 settings. These are slightly slower than the speed-optimized 5.3 parts, but faster than the adjusted 5.3.1 settings from the support article.
So far, we can describe these as a pretty good middle ground. Perhaps the overdosing could still be reduced slightly. However, this can be adjusted in the editor.

We struggled with this for a little while check out the powder dosing offset guide on their support articles. It has a tutorial for using the 5.3 settings with Nylon 12 such as the new updated 5.3.1 settings that CARLAYERS mentions. I theorize this is also why we got the update to change the max dosage settings from 5 degrees to 10.
