[Feature Request] Add "adjust the powder dosing offset" feature to FUSE 1

Lately I found the dosed powder a little too much for the build chamber that every long time job will end up with excessive powder in the front and rear surrounding of the build chamber:

I found that FUSE 1+ has the feature called “adjust the powder dosing offset“, which might be quite useful, but it doesn’t support FUSE 1 yet, hope this feature can be applied to FUSE 1.

that function doesnt work in OMM anyhow. You can control it in print settings but it isnt a universal adjustment on the fly like this function but you have more control over spillage based on print height.

I intentionally overfill. the wasted powder has been minimal compared to a failed print because a clump of nylon drug a valley through the print bed and there wasnt enough excess powder to fill it in for the next layer.

Wow, thanks for the instruction, I didn’t know that we can control the spillage by adjusting print height, definitely not the parameter I want to tamper with…

Anyway, I wasn’t trying to save powder, it’s just sometimes the overflown powder gets melted in the surrounding area, and I want to avoid that by not leaving so much powder outside the print area.

Not quite. You can adjust the flapper angle and have different angles based the overall height of the print.

You can adjust layer height but that’s a separate subject.

I´ve never seen overflown powder melt. Sure you are not having other issue with for example airheater, quartz tubes?

You are right, perhaps overheating for the air heater. Anyway now there’s no issue after I tuned the air heater temperature.
