Electric sparks in printer

Hello all,
Recently I tried to turn on the printer and I felt the smell of smoke from my printer. I already had few problems. Since I’m responsible for this, I should take care of this. I checked the printer, but I couldn’t find from where the smoke is coming. I searched in google and found a link of an electrician service ( http://www.theshockdoctors.ca/electrician-services/ ). Should I call them or will I be able to repair it myself?? I don’t want the entire printer to catch fire. So I need some suggestions. What is causing my printer to burn inside?? Where is the smoke coming from??

I really would contact the Formlabs support, if I were you.

Good luck!

Well that’s awfully concerning. I’ve reached out to our support team and you’ll be receiving an email from Declan shortly who will help to troubleshoot. In the mean time, you should power off your machine just to stay on the safe side. There’s no need to call an electrician - our support team will be happy to help.
