Small details with tough 2k v1 resin warping

I have been printing smaller pieces with a very thin end wall that needs to be straight, and printing them with tough 2k is showing ever so slight warping.

Initially I was printing them in high temp v2 and those had a better end wall geometrically, but I don’t want to keep using high temp resin for this application!

My slicer settings are just accounting for material, and I have the layer height on adaptive. I’m printing with auto gen and auto oriented supports.

The curing is a little suspicious as I don’t have a turntable, so I’m just curing at 60C and flipping the parts halfway through. This process did not cause problems with the high temp v2, so I wonder if it is my post processing.

The only thing I can think of is that the tough 2k resin flexes more inherently, and maybe the formwash was too rough with it and it deformed a little?

I notice this is a common issue with tough 2k when I look it up. Are there any ways to rectify? I’m going to try printing at 0.025 and hand washing instead + curing at a lower heat.

@leahs16 Sorry to hear that you’ve been having some difficulty curing Tough 2000. We recommend trying a print without using adaptive layer height and just printing at a default layer height. It is unlikely that the Form Wash is the source of any error, especially if it is on a shorter wash cycle. Are you using a Form Cure or another curing solution? It is likely that warping is happening at the curing stage. Without a turn table we recommend curing with your supports and flipping the part and changing it’s position in the cure as well. Let us know what happens!

Yep, a form cure but the turntable motor has stopped functioning. I’ll give that a shot!
