Resin Tank Repair - Need Help

Hi everybody, I am a new user here on the forum and first time owner of a used Form2, whose previous owner really did not take great care of it.
I had to manage a massive resin spill inside the printer which was caused by this resin tank that was left with resin in it for months.
The resin remaning inside for that long I suspect damaged all the glue that held the pieces together.
The spillage occured due to the fact that as you can see from the photos the resin infiltrated among all the parts the orange shell(1), the gel cover(2), the first optical screen(3) and the bottom screen(4).
The bottom screen(4) was not removed by me but it just disassembled on his own, by leaving the tank on a flat surface one day I found it detached.
How can I repair this tank?

Can anybody point out what products to use to clean each part (1,2,3,4)?

Can I glue all of it together and have a functioning tank again? Which glues and products should I use?
Is it possible to detach the gel layer(2) from the first screen(3) and clean its underside?

Before glueing all together again, is there a product to put in beetween the gel layer(2) and the first optical screen(3), and beetween it and the bottom screen(4) or are they in direct contact with each other?

Thank you in advance for any advice you can give me

Don’t. Bin it and buy a new one. They are still available.

Those LT (orange tanks) use FEP - you can’t really build that on your own. You can, however, build your own regular tank (silicone coating, I believe).

Plenty of information about it online - good luck!

@Will3dNew Resin spills are never fun. I have a guide for you for cleaning the spill. Once a resin tank fails, it’s best to just replace it. I have a link to our webstore for you so that you can purchase a new resin tank. There are two types of Form 2 tanks. I personally prefer the LT tank, but either will work for general resins. If you have any issues while trying to get the printer up and running, please feel free to open a support ticket. Our agents will do the best they can to get you up and running.

Thank you everybody for your answers. I will proceed with a new tank and start from zero.

I have some questions. I have received some resin cartridges from the previous owner, how can I know if those are still good to use? @jessbuck Could please tell me if these are still good? Is that on the photo an expiration date (2019-08-19) or production date? I would like to start with the black one since I have an orange tank new and good for it. Still usable? Or do I risk missprints or worse a ruined tank? Also is the Grey Pro one still good?

@Will3dNew Both of these cartridges have expired. Most resin is good for 2 years. The lot number is the date it was created, so 20180126 is Jan 26, 2018. This link on Resin Care can give you more details on how to find the shelf life of each resin. I look forward to hearing back about how things are going once you start fresh!
