Recommended lubricants for Form 4 / 4L maintenance

Hello Formlabs forum — I am performing scheduled maintenance on my Form 4 / 4L, and the maintenance manual recommends using Rheolube 362HB. However, this specific lubricant is not available in my region.

I found an aerosol-type grease locally as a possible replacement, and I have also reviewed the TDS for Rheolube 363 (attached) or GPL 205 ?. Could you advise whether either of these would be acceptable substitutes for Rheolube 362HB?
If not, I would appreciate guidance on what lubricant types, specifications, or verified alternatives are compatible with the Form 4 / 4L’s mechanical assemblies.

Thank you for your help.

Hi @raum , our suggestion if you cannot get your hands on Rheolube 362HB is to use any type of white lithium grease.

Would formlabs ever consider selling tubes or jars of the OEM recommended grease product? Even in the USA this grease is difficult to obtain from a trusted source in reasonable quantities for the purposes of lubricating these machines.
