¿A Alguien le pasa como a mi, que la puerta de la Form 4 al abrir no se le queda abierta? Se cae por su peso, y la impresora es nueva tiene 5 meses escasos. ¿Hay alguna forma de arreglarlo?

Hola @Joguets, lamentamos que estés teniendo este problema. Es posible que las bisagras de tu Form 4 hayan fallado.

Formlabs ha desarrollado un kit de repuesto que incluye bisagras nuevas, tornillos y un amortiguador de la tapa. Entonces, sigue estos pasos:

  1. Ponte en contacto con la empresa donde compraste el Form 4 (ya sea un distribuidor o directamente en formlabs.com). Ellos pueden enviarte el kit de repuesto de forma gratuita.
  2. Sigue las instrucciones paso a paso aquí: La cubierta no permanece abierta y también puedes ver este video paso a paso sobre cómo hacer el cambio.

Unfortunately your Form 4 hinges may have failed. Good news is that Formlabs has developed a replacement part kit containing new cover hinges, fasteners, and a cover damper. Please follow these steps:

  1. Reach out to the organization that sold you the printer (reseller for directly from Formlabs) for them to send you the replacement kit (for free).
  2. Follow the step by step instructions here Cover won’t stay open that includes a video tutorial of how to do it yourself.

For anyone who see’s this and is curious, we just used this kit to replace our hinges last week and it has been so much more solid ever since. The replacement took 10-15 minutes, only thing needed not in the tool caddy was some masking tape to cover the z-tower so you don’t lose screws in it. Ever since the lid is so much more solid and stays up first try every time.
