Hello,
I have been printing with the Form 2 for quite some time without any major issues. Recently, however, my prints have started failing because they are no longer adhering to the build plate.
At the time, I was using Durable resin and experienced repeated build failures. To rule out any issues with the consumables, I replaced the resin tank and switched to a new cartridge of Tough 2000 V4 resin. The first couple of prints were successful, but after that, the same adhesion problem returned.
After searching through the forums, I tried some of the suggested solutions. I adjusted the Z-axis fine-tuning to -0.2 mm, and after thoroughly combing the Durable resin, I was able to complete one successful print. Unfortunately, the following print failed because the resin level became too low.
I then kept the Z-axis offset at -0.2 mm, installed a new resin tank, and tried printing with Tough 2000 V4 again. I also lightly sanded the build plate with 220-grit sandpaper and cleaned it with IPA, but the print still failed. After further adjustment, I eventually achieved a successful print by setting the Z-axis fine-tuning to -0.4 mm.
While the print now adheres to the build plate, I am seeing tears and surface irregularities on the finished part. At this point, I’m not sure what the underlying issue is or what troubleshooting steps I should take next.. I have attached image of the durable part that was successful and the durable part which failed due to low resin along with the current successful tough part.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior or have any suggestions on what I should check next?
