Printer stopped, no error message

We began a 3D printing job using the Formlabs 2 printer, with a total estimated print time of 21 hours. Unfortunately, the printer stopped with just one hour remaining. There were no error messages displayed, and I would prefer not to restart the entire print. Can anyone with experience in this issue advise on how to proceed? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You’ll need to give some more information so others can help such as if there was any resin left or did the machine turn off because of a power issue etc.

The more details you can give about the situation the better the chance of someone being able to help.

Hi @Nastya, we’re sorry that happened with your Form 2, like @br4n_d0n said, we’d love more info so we can better help you. The most effective way will be if you directly contact support here so you can share printer details with the goal t get you back and printing quickly!

Thank you. No, we did not experience any power outages. I paused the printing process to change the resin cartridge to ensure there was enough resin. After that, the printer worked properly until it suddenly stopped working near the end of the print job. I had to abort the operation because none of the buttons were responsive.

If none of the buttons were responsive, it sounds like the printer may have locked up.

I’d definitely suggest reaching out the the support team like @verdugod mentioned because this might be too complicated for us forum members.

This was pretty common with the F2, usually the best to do was just restart the machine because at that point you cannot get them back.

Probably the suggestion will be to perform a factory reset and “Upgrade to latest firmware and preform version” I can’t remeber if at some point I experienced issues with certain version with my f2’s but they are all running Rc1.19 from 2023.
