I was printing a job I’ve done many times before and 10 hours in with 4 hours left it just stopped with the parts down in the resin. I tried to press Pause on the screen but it is unresponsive. Is there a way of salvaging this print and what may have caused this?
I’m using a Form 2 and I’m quite sure I’ve updated to Firmware 1.15.4 and PreForm 2.13.1
I have had this happen 2 or 3 times now. In my case there was no way to recover the part. The machine simply froze. You must unplug it and plug back in again. The machine should be fine, however the print is lost.
Do open a support ticket with Formlabs. On at least one occasion they were able to identify a bug from my diagnostic logs and implemented a fix. (this was probably 9 months ago).
