Open mode pause for resin check

It would be great if preform would estimate the time until the printer pauses in open mode for a resin fill. This would allow us to have the machine set idle for less time and should reduce the layer line we see with a pause.

Even better would be to have the dashboard send a text when the printer nears the pause layer.

Should be able to calculate that. Subtract 100 from your total ML resin in Preform and calculate it’s percentage. Then use that to get that percentage of the time shown in Preform to print the job. It won’t be exact but close.

I agree that it’s easy to calculate but the base layers are a significant part of the print times on some prints compared to others.

The idea here is to reduce the pause time to a minimum because it causes banding/defects in the print.
