The side facing the bottom of the tank looks great but the side facing the support base is messed up.

It looks like you need to rotate your part so that the flat is at an angle. Additionally, the latest version of PreForm (2.10.0) improves surface finish of bottom flats.

Let PreForm orient the part and see how that compares…
