Recently while adding some grease to our form 3 i discovered a square nut in the machine, but cannot see where it might come from. Additionally we noticed our build platform has a chip. it is sloppier when sliding on, but seems to lock into place just as tight. I was wondering if anyone had a similar chipped platform and if it functions the same when locked.

the chip is probably in contact with IPA too long some times these areas become brittle if left in IPA too long.
Hi @bee , thanks for letting us know about your issue! Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell where the nut came from, but please do inspect the printer to see where it might be missing from.
Regarding the build platform handle, it’s an inexpensive part to replace, so I’d suggest you do that. Its availability might depend on your location, but for example it’s available in our US webstore here and here’s how to replace it.
