Mixing a different resin in the same resin tank

What types of resin can we mix in the same resin tank without having problems?
Any crossed table for it?
Thinking of the SLA White Resin V5 mixed with a new cartdrige of Grey V5 or Black V5.
Thanks

Hi @JCaeiroAntunes,

You can reuse a tank between different resins by cleaning it out and reprogramming it, but I would not recommend mixing resins. While it technically may still print, your print success rate will no longer be validated with our print settings. If you did want to try and learn how to tweak settings at your own risk, you can use Print Settings Editor.

Thank you for your fast reply. When “Incorrect tank inserted” message appears there is no “Ignore” option only a message to check if the Mixer is correctly attached. How to reprogram the tank in this case? Maybe any sequence I made incorrectly. I’ve just inserted the new grey v5 resin, different from previous white v5. I do not intend to buy and use more white since the grey is the same price having option for more resolution.

After you’ve cleaned out the tank, you can proceed to start a print with the new resin you’d like to use the tank for. It’ll give you a warning mismatch, but you should have an option to continue the print and it’ll reprogram the tank to be assigned to the new resin. Could you take some pictures of the screen throughout the steps in the guide?
