I’m trying to use meshy to add mesh to my prints. Tough those are the result both in fusion and in cura. Can someone give me some hints? Thanks!
Hey @nader!
Thanks for taking the time to post! I’m not a Meshy expert, but I reached out to someone on our team who’s familiar to ask if he could take a quick look at your post.
His suspicion is that the input mesh your using could have issues somewhere. First he recommended making sure Meshy works with a different input mesh.
The other thing he recommended was running your input mesh through a repair program such as Meshlab to see if that can clean things up a bit.
Sorry we couldn’t be more help directly, but hopefully another community member here can offer more tips and tricks for you!
So, I confirm that the problem was that the stl needs to be remeshed before uploading. I used blender for example here
Then export and use meshy.
Hey everyone, just wanted to update this thread and let you all know that the features you’ve been asking for, like Part Hollowing, Drain Holes, Model Texturing, and more, have been added!
Some of Meshy’s limitations had to do with the web browsers and 3D file formats, but the texturing has been implemented directly into PreForm, which will solve a lot of the issues people were coming across on the web application.
Check out the full details in our latest forum post here. Thanks again for all your feedback!
