Issues with Tough 1500 Shear parts

We have been using this resin for years for multiple parts and prototypes with all kind of geometry, large, small, intrincate, thin parts.

But since last year it has become more difficult to work with, failed prints and weird issues that only happens with this resin so far.

There is one particularly strange that I haven’t seen before the parts at the back of the build platform are at an angle mainly in the center of the platform.

This happened in the last 3 or 4 jobs, we mainly use this resin for a customer that makes pens and related office articles.

Has anyone seen this before? any tips? resin is definitely on it’s last in fact the bottle is empty but we are running low on cash now and we can restock now.

However I cannot find the relationship between the parts deformation and the resin being sufficient for the build. What worries me is to buy a new cartridge and getting the same problems leading to losing resin.

is it possible the tank has gone bad or maybe your angle need to be adjusted for the print

That’s exactly what I was thinking, it will be a shame considering this tank has been used very lightly.

so this means you have experiences similar issues?

The angle can be adjusted but this parts have been produced this way for several reasons, including precision, surface finish and ease of post processing leaving zero support marks.

The previous tank withstood much more heavy use.
