Form 3B+ wont power on. 24V LEDs are on, but 3V3 and 5V LEDs are off

Hi everyone, my Form 3B+ wont turn on.

I had a couple prints just suddenly stop during printing and the printer reboot. Now, the printer has no signs of life from the outside apart from a very very quiet hum which you can only hear if you hold your ear close to the back of the machine.

I took the casing off to investigate and can see that the 24V LED indicators is lit, but the 3V3 and 5V LEDs are not lit.

Please could someone give me some help troubleshooting? I was hoping it might just be a simple replacing of the power supply… but now, with the LEDs as they are, I am unsure.

Is the SOM removable on the form3? If so, if it were mine and it was no longer under warranty, I would remove the SOM and see if a short in the SOM is dragging down the 3.3 and 5v rails.

@barnh1 This sounds like it could be a SOM issue. I suggest opening a support caseso that we can investigate deeper into the issue.
