Hello,
I’m having a new issue with my Form 3. During a print the mixer arm doesn’t move across the tank at all. Also when the LPU moves it makes a grinding, almost screeching sound. Has anyone run into this? Earlier I had to clean the LPU glass due to a piece of lint causing print issues and it ran fine after that for a couple prints. I also updated the hardware and Preform software.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Yep
You need to clean and re grease the X lead screw.
Thanks! I’ll give that a go once the grease comes in the mail.
I am having exactly the same problem as you, for sure its not a problem of cleaning.
Hi All,
My Form3 is dying!!! Please check this video for the scary sounds!
[Form3 Scary Sound]
Here is what happened: I am printing with tough1500 resin, using a brand new platform and resin tank. I printed 3 times and they all failed because of the same problems. Firstly, the printer will finish the first 3 or 4 layers nicely (see the photo of the platform). Then at some time point, the laser module will stay at the leftmost position and keep generating scary sounds in the video! …

How did you do it?
What kind of grease did you use?
Could you send a picture what has to be cleaned and greased?
Thank you.

How did you do it?
I cleaned the screw with a toothbrush, then spread grease along the screw
What kind of grease did you use?
Lithium Grease
Could you send a picture of what has to be cleaned and greased?
If you remove the tank the x-lead-screw will be in front of you along the back wall of the printer.
