Right, so I’ve got a bit of a problem. I ran a print the other day, well, overnight. Before I could remove the print from the platform the next morning, I ended up having to take a trip to the hospital.
Now I can’t get the base off the build platform, it’s too solidly cured to the platform. The “quick releases” weren’t much of a help, they just shattered when I slipped the paint scraper the Form1 comes with under them. I was able to get the parts off using the cutters, but the base is well and truly welded on - she’s just not coming off!
Have tried soaking it overnight in alcohol, no luck. I’d rather not chisel at the build plate too much, as straight out of the box it has problems with the bases not properly adhering in some areas.
What can I use to just dissolve the cured resin, so that I can clear the build plate and try to proceed?
