There’s a bug in the material consumption display in the software. If a print job is sent to the printer but the print job isn’t executed, the material used still counts up in the print history. Please only count the layers that were actually exposed.
Hi there, thank you for bringing this up!
To help clarify how the tracking works: the volume listed in the printer’s local Print History shows the total estimated job volume for that file rather than tracking real-time resin dispensed per print.
If you’re referring to the Dashboard statistics, you’re right - cancelled or unexecuted jobs currently get tallied as if they finished printing. This is a known tracking limitation in Dashboard.
I want to reassure you that this display issue doesn’t impact your printing or deduct any resin from your cartridge/pump. We know tracking actual exposed layers would be a great quality-of-life improvement, and I’ve passed this flag along to our software team!
