What type of Casting Investment for Castable Resin?

Hi. I am writing on behalf of a jewelry instructor so forgive me if I get the terminology incorrect.
She has been told that the Gypsum investment that we have is not compatible with the resin based castable resin.

Can someone clarify what we should be using for an investment?
