@resilientboy, I’m sorry to hear that your Form Wash’s impeller is stuck. Most likely, some resin was cured around the impeller, which is why it’s not moving. The impeller sits at the bottom of the wash bucket, which is the easiest place for resin to accumulate. Even a good washing before putting your Form Wash away could have left some residue. You can purchase a replacement bucket.
In case I incorrectly diagnosed your issue, a photo of the exact part that’s not working would be helpful. If the cover of the Form Wash isn’t opening, it’s a bit trickier. I’d suggest removing the hinge of the cover first, since we don’t have replacement lids for the Form Wash Gen 1. We really want to be sure we don’t break the lid. It’s possible that there is also resin residue that has cured the lid closed. Spraying IPA around the seal could loosen that up. But we have no documentation on how to resolve this issue.
You can always open a support case and work with an agent to get this sorted out. We’re happy to help where we can.
Thanks for the reply,
I’ve used alcohol and paint thinner seperately, i think that loosened it a bit, then pulled with all my might, There came a 5mm thick resin residue cured by itself on bottom.
All works now.
