There is a very loud sound at the end of each layer (linked video) being printed. Any reasoning why?

Based on the sound alone, the X-axis lead screw may need lubrication (Cleaning and Lubricating the X-Axis Lead Screw). Support would be able to provide you with the necessary cleaning kit, or you can use your own white lithium grease.
