These photos are of a brand new V2 tank for the Form 3L. Notice the seal is “bubbling” up along one edge. I’ve only ever used V1 tanks before; is this normal for V2?
I bought the tank a couple years ago and it’s been sitting sealed in the original shipping box. Never opened it until today. I have a few V2 tanks in inventory and tried unboxing another one, it had a similar issue in the same location.
Was there a bad / marginal run of tanks a while back?
Is it usable, or is there a risk of premature failure?
I saw a handful like this as well and assumed either there is excess gasket in a revised design, or there was a slight change in their bonding process or a shift in manufacturing (I know they moved mfgs at some point).
I was told by support that it’s fine, and I also have printed with these and they worked the same as before.
