Updated 4L Tank Design

I recently got a bunch of new 4L tanks and noticed the sides had these new inserts in them that my old tanks didn’t have.

Curious what these are for? I’m guessing these mitigate frothing and/or splashing of resin, but would love to hear an official comment on them and whether there are other significant improvements over the older tanks (which I have no problems with honestly, except for frothing and splashing sometimes )

@leonhart88 Thank you for posting this about the new Form 4L resin tanks. The new design is meant to catch any floating debris in the tank, to help avoid print failures. Hopefully, you never find anything in there, but as an added precaution, the idea is that as it mixes, it pushes any debris to the catcher.
