Total Run time of the Printer

Not sure if this has been asked before or if I am even in the right section to be asking this… but is there a way to check the total amount of time the machine has printed. Maybe total LASER on time or something like that. My management is curious how much we have used it in the month or so that we have had the machine and wanted to avoid loading all my old prints and calculating the print time in the PreForm software.

Printer odometer & log file

I came across some really really interesting files when cleaning through my hard drive. I noticed a 1.5 Gb log file sitting in my user data folder which is being generated by Preform. Most interesting to me is the “odometer”!!! In Windows, check out C:\Users(your user name)\AppData\Local\Formlabs\PreForm\odometer You get info like how long your laser has been turned on, how long the tilt motor has been running, how many aborted prints, etc… I’m currently waiting on my printer to be repaired/u…

Good to know! It even has a backlog on all my previous printers that needed replacement…its really interesting to compare them.

Does the log include run time from the previous owners of the refurbished machines?
