Perhaps in the past you never printed over that area. Makes you wonder if there’s more spots inside.
I recently ran into a bunch of problems printing with my Form 2 as well where between all of the failures, reorientation, support structures, etc I used most of a cartridge of resin up. I never had a definitive resolution as I split the most troublesome part up into two parts. Even then, I can see where one of those parts nearly failed. I’m curious if you have any definitive information on what solved your problem.
Does look like you have some dust though on the main mirror. Those specs will be trouble. If an air blaster doesn’t take them off then fold up a pec-pad into 1/4 and gently wipe the dust off. Make sure you put on a fresh pair of gloves on before you handle the pad.
If you use a air blaster ( I have a Rocket) make sure you blast towards the sides so the dust doesn’t end up on the galvos or back mirror.
Nothing definitive, still having the issue, still having flaking.
However, they are sending me a new optical lense. I’ve cleaned it time and time again and there are some, for lack of a better word, pockmarks on the underside. I think those are the dust specks you think you’re seeing. It’s like the laser etched the surface. But just in 3 places.
The surface is really delicate. Any pressure with even a pec-pad can scratch it. The big mirror is easy to replace though. Make sure you filter your resin before try again.
