It would be cool if I could just change material in the printer and then just select right that material in Preform. It seems like it does exist already, but in the material selection list the option "current printer settings " never works. If it actually worked that would be much nicer that scrolling through such a long non-alphabetical list.

I agree. It’s kind of annoying that I have to tell Preform what’s in the printer, when Preform clearly can determine that for itself.
