Good morning Team Formlabs.

I would love if when i open preform it chooses an available printer. As it is now we have 2 Fuse 1 and 1 Fuse 1+.

Automatically Preform only show either one. Usually it says “No printer chosen” but i would love to see Preform choose an available printer when i open up a prebuilt job.

Can you help me understand the exact usecase here? Is this what you’re describing?

  1. create a FORM file with some settings (printer + material + print settings)
  2. close & re-open PreForm
  3. re-open the FORM file and it selects the available printer matching (material + print settings) and ignoring the previously selected printer

Separately, have you seen the Group Queues feature in Dashboard? You can upload ready jobs to the queue and they will automatically be assigned to the right available printer: customer_v2

Since the update to Preform yesterday i haven´t come across this again so you might actually have fixed it. I will see in the next few days if it happens again and post here if it does happen again. Thank you.
