Can you cure Rigid 4000 in the Fast Cure? what are the parameters?
Good morning @boysxthree from Berlin,
I checked internally for any available information on cure times related to Rigid 4K and Fast Cure, but I couldn’t find any additional details. Currently, we only have one recommended post-curing time for Rigid 4000 Resin V1: 15 minutes at 80°C in either the Form Cure or Form Cure L. I believe this is because Fast Cure is intended primarily for dental applications, whereas Rigid 4K is part of our engineering portfolio rather than dental.
Here is a table of available Fast Cure settings: Fast Cure time settings -(customer_v2).
Even though we don’t have specific documentation for optimal parameters, it is technically possible to cure Rigid 4K parts in the Fast Cure. However, you’ll need to assess the mechanical properties based on your application needs. Also keep in mind that the maximum height of a part in the Fast Cure is just 6.5 cm / 2.56 inch ( vertical oriented dental arch). In the Form Cure L it’s 32 cm /
12.6 inch.
Let me know if you need further information.
Best,
Shiden Yohannes
