Does anyone have any suggestions for these type of prints? The supports below are fine, however supports on the prongs are super tough to clean up after the print. Tried changing orientation etc but the prongs always end up as overhangs, can’t find a clean way to support the prongs.
Hi @yuyh2018, we are aware that this can happen and are working on a solution. In the meantime, I would suggest:
- Trying to orient the part in a way where those prong don’t need supports. You can usually get away with a bit more overhangs than what we warn for at your own risk. (our printability warnings are a bit more conservative to ensure print success)
- Try disabling internal supports, that should get rid of the small pin supports that you’re seeing.
- Manually edit the support points in those areas to be smaller diameter.
