Print quality drops on further areas of platform

I bought form2 around one week ago. I start printing models very close to the wiper side and the quallity is perfect…

Today I have made a test on the brand new areas (further from wiper side) and the print quality drops very much.

In screens you will see everything. I will use Form 2 for mass production and I must get the same quality in the whole platform :frowning:

Thanks for help!

I would check the bottom of you tank first to see if there are any smudges or fingerprints first. Also I would recommend filtering the resin after every print to get rid of any partially cure resin. Next I would check the optical glass to see if it needs cleaning then look at the mirrors to make sure they are clean as well. Also be sure to open a support ticket with customer service so they can help you get back in tip top shape.

I agree with what Chris said. The problems you’re seeing look like something’s wrong in the optical path from the laser to that side of the tank/platform. You can carefully check the underside of the tank and the window for smudges and blemishes, and customer support should be able to help you with this in greater detail.

I don’t think it’s likely to be a problem in your resin, though. If it were, you’d probably see it on every part, not just on one side.

I think that too.

I check today glass under tank - I think it shouldn’t be like this. Can you guys check yours?

The glass shouldn’t have those artifacts, and our support team is going to be best suited to help out with this. A member of our team will be in touch with you over email.

Thank you.

My polish support told me today that I should take off this glass and try clean it by my self. What are you think about it? Should I do that, or should I ask for replacement?

Had exactly the same problem. It isn’t difficult to clean, Support can send you the instructions. Take your time and it will work.

Far bigger worry is why windows are either being assembled like this, or they are going in clean and something inside the machine is spraying lubricant vapour all over the place…

Solved.

I have cleaned the window (it taken me 2h… to do it :stuck_out_tongue: you must do it very very very slowly with IPA and PCB-PAD ) Now prints are perfect.
