All my prints have a flat surface. Would love to see an option to keep the print on the build plate while still being able to add supports. Manually adding supports in a CAD program is not much fun!
This can be done currently but does require manually adding support points. If you go into support edit mode before generating supports, you can manually add internal support structures and so long as they’re not touching the build platform, a raft won’t be generated.
See my post above for a workaround that lets Preform put in the supports.
