ok so back about 14 days ago I decided to replace my main window on my form2 I had been having issues printing a mold I had designed. long story short. I got the new window intalled just fine.the old one had a burned appearance and i wanst convinced some of the faint streaks were not causing the issue. ran the optical test which wasnt perfect but really close “the little posts didnt fully print”. anyway I went back to my stl on the advise of a few on here and cleaned up the file “thanks sculptingman and Ike for all the advise and patience”. anyhow I ran the print today and got the EXACT same results.
On of the other peopel on here didt print successfully my file so i know its possible. can anyone here describe the effect of dirty galvos? what happens when they are dirty? my main mirror appears to be clean, but im reluctant to dg into the printer if i dont have to. I can do it if needed but want to be certain the action is warrented first.!
one of the pics is from an earlier attempt by someone else they managed the print just fine… the other lump is what my printer did… the machine is at least 2 years old. i was using a brand new tank and resin, the failure looks like several i did earlier they turned out hte same.
