Does anyone have any ideas on finishing parts to prevent chipping and cracking, I recently had to drill one of the parts which caused it to chip pretty bad, I also find that functional parts will chip over time. I had heard of someone using a glue to coat the part, does anyone else have any other suggestions?
Near fragile areas I usually snip the bottom of the supports then the tips that touch the part.
Snipping them while the model is still slightly soft just after the first IPA bath seems to help.
