Dear Formlabs,
There are not enough words to describe how counter productive the resin sensor is so here is a picture.
Please have mercy on us poor folk that bough these machines and give us control over the sensors.
PS. Your software choices are why a Form3 and future Formlabs machines are not a consideration in this shop.
I agree. I get around this sensing issue by always printing in OPEN mode. Allows the use of resin that is half the cost. Just preheat the vat before starting the print. You won’t miss the wiper either, especially when the print sticks to the vat, there’s nothing to fling resin all over the inside of the machine.
