Hi Guys,
My Form 2 stopped working all of a sudden.
Black screen, no moves, nothing but a tiny buzzing sound.
I tried to remove the power cord, re-plug it, press the button… nothing happens.
Any idea?

I did, but the answer was just:
“It appears that there is a problem with the electrical component of the motherboard. Unfortunately, this type of malfunction cannot be repaired, because the motherboard is not replaceable. and given that the Form 2 model has been discontinued, we are unfortunately no longer able to offer a repair solution.”
I’d buy a second hand Form 2 and use it for spareparts. There are plenty for sale.

I have already put it apart and I checked the PSU: it is fine.
The problem obviously comes from the main board.
Its two onboard DC-DC converters don’t deliver a correct voltage when the small CPU board is inserted. If removed, the buzzing sound stops and the first converter makes a correct 3V supply while the second, which is not being enabled, delivers 0V.
