My first gig using my Form 1+!

I did a fake commemorative coin for a Wendy’s commercial. Modeled in Modo, then ZBrush. I printed in two halves at 0.025mm (2" diameter) without supports, painted it chrome with Montana spray paint, glued the halves together, and patina’d with acrylic inks. Lit right, it looks like real silver!

@Alex_Cunningham, are you saying the coin in the commercial is the coin which was printed by you? Or did you remake the coin in Modo and Zbrush and create a similar coin like the one in the commercial?

I would think you did the first, but by reading your text it seems you did the latter.

If it’s the same coin, then wow. Nice job, and cool that Wendy’s came to you to create such a coin! (or multiple)!

Congratulations! The coin looks great in the commercial.

I’ve worked in many dozens of commercials but always in cg. Sometimes I really wish the industry would go back to using more practical effects and props, so I think it’s super cool you were able to use cg to create something practical for a commercial.
