IPA Distillation

I know this has been talked about quite a bit - but I’d like to know from users who are actually distilling their IPA using industrial equipment (ie. please no home brew suggestions/comments).

I’m thinking about getting a Uni-ram URS500 (URS500 – Uni-ram Corporation). However, they have two different types - the standard which is either an aluminum or SS tank + copper condenser. Or a full SS type, where everything is stainless.

The reps at Uni-ram are saying that some applications with isopropyl cause corrosion in the copper condenser, but it really depends on the pH and the contaminants in the IPA itself.

For those who have industrial distillation machines - which ones did you use, and are you finding that the whole thing does need to be SS?
