I have a Form 3 Early (basically, a 3B). I’m trying to determine if Grey V4.1 will be compatible with the resin tank that I’m using which is being used for the original Grey resin. I saw under the compatibility notes on the Formlabs store page for Grey V4.1 that it uses a V2.1 tank. Is this an absolute requirement? I’d like to get the most lifetime out of my original tank if possible.
@david_g Thanks for posting this question in the forums. I think others may have this question too. With that being said, the V2.1 resin tanks have been around for some time now. Most users have that tank version in their current rotation. To check which resin tank you have, look above the two metal EEPROM chips. If your tank is not a V2.1, it’s probably time to replaced it.
