I find that I frequently get sticky parts from Grey Pro. The parts are washed in relatively new IPA (the specific gravity reads good) and cured under UV light (405 nm) for the recommended time and temp. Any suggestions.? Other resins are okay.
I’ve actually been getting better part cleaning using alternating baths of denatured alcohol and warm water. If your parts have small features a toothbrush is your best friend. Then obviously post-curing for the optimal strength. All that being said, you shouldn’t have sticky parts even prior to post-curing… If they are sticky, you still have some washing to do.
What is the best IPA to use? I’m using anhydrous IPA not denatured. Does it matter? Can you over wash a part?
