Fun to do resin F1+ Blend

I asked this in a different thread, but has anyone tried any of the Autodesk Prototyping Resin (https://ember.autodesk.com/shop) or any of the Bucktown Polymers resins (http://www.bucktownpolymers.com/rcpolymers00.html)?

I always hear about these other resins (namely Photocentric, FTD, etc.) having a lot of problems, if it even successfully prints, but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone try either of the two listed above. Maybe check those out as an alternative?

Cheers!

I read today that also the ember went discontinued…

I also read on another forum that the clear ember resin works very well on DLP printers and the very good UV inhibitors make it high resolution too, however DLP compatibility makes it more unlikely to work on the Formlabs
Still, did anyone try that?

At FunToDo Resins we have recently launched our PDMS Kit to replace the lining of the tank when clouded.
This way you don’t have to buy a whole new tank every time, you just replace the lining of the tank!
This product retails at €21,- and is enough for replacing the lining of your tank about 3 to 4 times!

How do I order the PDMS kit? and will it work on a form2 tank?

Hi, The lining of the form2 is basically the same as the form1(+) So no problem. You can order them from your local FTD distributor. What country are you in?

Hmm, I wonder if that means they’ll update their Meshmixer app to stop pimping Ember in the corner all the time!
