Is the form wash intrinsically safe?
Yes. It’s still a bucket of IPA though, so don’t go lighting a smoke in front of the open lid…
If your question relates to IPA vapors, it’s been demonstrated that for IPA vapors to ignite it needs to be very concentrated. So concentrated you’d have to heat it and enclose it to let the vapor concentrate before adding a spark… this is not likely to happen outside of a hot, closed cupboard in which you should not place the Wash to begin with.
Just the same- it does NOT seal when shut- so IPA is evaporating all the time at a slow rate.
You don’t want to be breathing IPA vapors if you can avoid it.
So keep the thing in a well ventilated area that you don’t LIVE in. Away from the desk you spend hours at, for example.
