Form Wash Gen 2 platform mounts falling off

While my Form 4 has been working great so far, I have been having some problems with the form wash when raising and lowering the prints into the wash. The Gen 2 wash includes really great platform mount arms to hold the build plate, so my first washes have been with the build directly on the plate, then I wash again with the print taken off the plate (I just leave it in the basket). I haven’t been removing the platform mount arms between these two washes, but I plan to now that I have had issues with these mount arms being knocked off by the raising and lowering of the basket into my IPA wash. I can’t imagine this is intentional, as the locking slots for the arms should have enough clearance to not be knocking the arms off even without anything sitting on them. Has anyone else had this problem? Outside of taking the arms out every other wash, is here something I should do? leaving them in is not an option when they keep falling off, as they hit the lid out of its slots on the way back up and cause a whole mess.

I’m having the same issue with the generation 2 Form Wash. It seems like the platform mounting arm tabs don’t match the slots they’re supposed to fit, and they’re different from what’s shown in the instruction image.

Hi @ThomasP please excuse our delay getting back to you! In the case you still haven’t found a solution - I believe you’re referring to the tendency for the forks to hit the inner lid during movement up or down? This is an issue that we saw few times in early versions of Wash Gen 2. You can probably fix it by gently bending the forks so they are angled slightly inwards. If not, please reach out to our Support Team and we’ll help fix this for you.

Hi @meghansurges , thanks for letting us know and sorry you’re having an issue. While similar outcome, this is actually a different issue than @ThomasP. The fork you have on that part require a bit of force to engage—you should press firmly towards the elevator plate and then down. When they are properly installed they should be very secure and not easily knocked out.

However, because of your post, we’ve noticed that the art in the steps does not match the product design! We’ve put in a request to our creative team to have that updated. Thanks for helping us improve!
