Has anyone had success with 0.2mm touchpoints with Grey V5 on 0.05mm layer heights? Looking to make some minis and the fine touchpoints are really helpful, but I don’t know where to start copying the settings from 0.1mm fine touchpoints in the print settings editor.
Hi @barreax2 We generally advise to use .3 to .4mm touchpoints for finer details, as they’re easy enough to remove without damaging the part. But if you need, you could take a material that has those capabilities (e.g. Model V3), copy those settings as the base and then enter all the numbers for exposure etc. for grey.
Just recently ran a test file for a very fine mesh. I used 0.1mm touchpoint on Durable on a Form 4. The mesh itself is about 70 microns (0.070mm)
We first tried without supports. No dice. Took several attempts to get it dialed in, but it worked! We were all blown away.
These machines continue to amaze!
