Cure L Firmware missing V5 resins?

So, do I just use the profile for Grey V4 resins on the Cure L if I’m using V5 resin? I’ve checked online and it seems we have the latest firmware, but the firmware doesn’t seem to have anything for the V5 series of resins.

you can put in custom settings or you may just need to update the machine

The latest version, 1.3.0, adds support for Grey V5 among others. Can you confirm that’s the version your device is on?

I did connect the device to a laptop and went to the Formlabs support website and was told that it had the latest version of firmware on it…I’ll have to dig deeper.

You can check your current firmware under Settings > System > Machine Details.

My current version is 1.2.5-2215. When I try to update the firmware, it tells me that I have the latest.

You can try a manual firmware update. You can find the latest firmware here.

Just curious, where did you see the message saying you are up to date? What steps did you follow?

I went to the screen option on the device to update the firmware from within the System settings.

The serial number of the Cure L is OriginalLemur.

Thanks. We found the reason why your device couldn’t find the latest version. A manual update to 1.3.0 should be enough; you shouldn’t experience this issue going forward.
